Правительство России увеличило размер прожиточного минимума. В опубликованном на официальном портале правовой информации постановлении кабинета министров говорится о том, что в 1 квартале 2016 года прожиточный минимум на душу населения установлен в размере 9776 рублей.

При этом для разных социальных категорий населения величина прожиточного минимума тоже разная. Так, для трудоспособного населения она равна 10524 рубля, "для пенсионеров - 8025 рублей, для детей - 9677 рублей", - говорится в тексте документа.

Напомним, в IV квартале 2015 года прожиточный минимум был определен в 9452 рубля.

Величина прожиточного минимума влияет на размеры ряда социальных выплат. Так, от этих цифр зависят размеры социальных доплат к пенсиям, ежемесячных детских пособий и пособий малоимущим гражданам. Субсидии на оплату услуг ЖКХ также зависят от размера прожиточного минимума.
